[Sora lets out a puff of laughter because it's absolutely not the first time he's heard that before. And it won't be the last time either. So, while they go get in line for the next game and Sora steps up to the plate to play first he explains!]

Ferran's right! Actually, did you know me, Vanitas and Ferran all came from the same world before this one?

[Surprise!]

Vanitas does look like me, think of what I'd look like if I had black hair, gold eyes, I was a way more prickly and always have to be right about everything.

[He says that fondly, somehow.]

But we're not related, not by a single bit. That part is the long part of the story.

[And he picks up a dart!]

[ Susato is waiting and listening patiently! Ferran did mention something about black hair and maybe yellow eyes. In fact, she might have seen such a figure talking to 76 at some point, but she wouldn't have wanted to interrupt.

How they could look so alike and yet not be related is beyond her, but they're in a world of dream magic and people casually existing from the 25th century, so what does she know? ]

I was trying to help Ferran through a particularly hard nightmare, and telling me about you two seemed to keep his mind off things. [ Well, them and his girlfriends. But regardless-- ] It was Geardagas, wasn't it?

[ If she recalls correctly.

She watches as Sora lifts the dart. How's his multitasking? ]

Yeah, that's right. We lived in a city called Aefenglom. It feels like we were there forever.

[For quite a long period of time. He has so many memories of that place and that's where Sora and Vanitas both became friends with Ferran. He isn't sure of many others that were also in that world before this one besides Roxas and Kor too but it was a big chapter of all their lives. He has to wonder if Ferran misses it...

He has the dart in hand and Sora actually shows some keen skill at throwing the dart while talking! He even hits the target! Wow!]

Has he told you a lot about it?

[ Ferran made it pretty clear that he preferred Reverein! The fact that it felt like forever to Sora also checks out, but Susato is caught up in the fact that the dart hits the target. There's a happy cheer. ]

Nicely done!

[ Then, the question slowly begins to process. ]

Um... it probably felt like a lot... to him. He told me about being a fae, and... he told me Vanitas was a witch.

Haha! Thanks! I think that means you're up!

[Sora takes his winning tickets. He'll have to win more for the large black rabbit toy so he's going to start stockpiling them.

Monsters and witches... It was a very strange world. And more often than not it was dangerous. As many nice memories that Sora has of it, there are a lot of bad ones too. He wouldn't blame Ferran for liking it here better.]

Yeah. That was the thing about that world. A lot of us were monsters and witches. [Sora points to his head.] I was a rabbit, big ears and all.

[ Susato takes a dart in her hand casually, trying not to think too much about it. But of course, the more she tries not to think about it, the harder she will. ]

Oh, you were, were you? No wonder the rabbit caught your attention.

[ Deep breath.

She waits, watching as bubbles slowly float across the target, and when she feels like it's the right moment, she releases! And...!

Well, it wasn't the bubble she was going for, but she does pop one, and the dart's trajectory changes. It slams into one of the lower outer rings of the target. ]

Whoa! Hah! You did it! Great job, Susato!

[Sora lets out a cheer and bounces on the heels of his feet. Yup, very rabbit-like, indeed.]

But yeah, you're right. That's why I want the rabbit plushie too. Aefenglom was a crazy place for all of us but I'm glad I got to meet people like Ferran there. And I got to find Vanitas too.

[He smiles. It was rough but meeting new friends in other worlds makes things a little easier.]

[ Susato bounces as as well, finding the excitement contagious. After all, Sora is not the only one who has rabbit energy. She easily picks up another dart after collecting more winning tickets, happy to take turns. ]

Let's keep it up!

[ She pumps her fist that's not holding the dart. ]

Apparently when they met, Vanitas tried to steal his book?

Yeah! We've got more tickets to win here!

[Sora will mimic her fist pump and then grab up his next darts as well. Time to shoot again! But he has to snort quickly with some laughter first.]

Uh, yeah that doesn't really surprise me. Vanitas can be a bit of a brat like that sometimes.

[Even if Vanitas would call Sora the brat.]

They're really good friends now, though! If you ever meet Vanitas just be careful of his Unversed that run around and snatch things sometimes!

[ Clearly they can both be brats... in very, very different ways. Even so, she can still sense the fondness with which he speaks of Vanitas and Ferran both.

She tilts her head though. ]

Unversed? [ Isn't that an adjective? (She might hate English.) ] Unversed in... what?

[ Good manners? ]

Huh?

[Wait, he doesn't get it for a second either! Oh- Oh-!!]

Oh!! No, his Unversed! It's what he calls his... uh.

[... What the heck does Sora use to describe them?]

These little creatures that he can make.

[Vanitas and his emotional bunnies.]

. . . Now I am imagining him making his own plushies, but I don't think that's right.

[ Sorry, Sora! She does appear to laugh it off as a joke, though, so at least she knows she is wrong.

She'll just wait and see if Sora has a better explanation to offer. And if not--well, she can always see for herself.

One day. ]

[At that Sora does snicker with laughter.]

Nah, I wish it was something like that. It's more like these little pals he makes out of his emotions.

[It's as weird as it sounds. Kingdom Hearts, baby.

He throws another dart! This time he lands the big target by just a small margin! The big-ticket prize!! And he's going to momentarily forget to elaborate on the Unversed.
For now.]

Aahhha!! I did it! Whoa!?

W, Wait, what?! Did that do it?

[ Does he have enough now? Susato will also forget all about Sora's clone boyfriend and his emotional not!plushies. ]

Oh, how wonderful! Now you'll be able to give him a BIG pal.

[Don't worry about all the weird Kingdom Hearts details!! They've got rabbit plushies to get!]

I think so! I've almost got enough for one of the plushies! Now we've just gotta get you enough! Yeah!

[He bounces on his heel in excitement.]

[ She grins, watching that bounce of his, but sadly acts more reserved. There's a glance over all the prizes, but truthfully, she didn't have to win the biggest one. For her or for Kazuma.

She's just going to indulge in being a kid, and a childhood she never really got to have. ]

Thank you, Sora.

[ He's gotten what he came for. He could easily leave. But somehow, she knows he won't. ]
